Confused about what your child should choose after Class 9, 10 or 12?
For students from middle school to early college who are unsure about subjects, stream or career direction.
Marks tell performance. They don't
tell suitability.
We identify why your child is confused before suggesting any career.
Know if your child actually needs career counselling
Suitable for Class 8–12 students and also for college students who feel they may have chosen the wrong path.
Why students struggle to choose a career
The issue is rarely lack of ability. It is lack of direction clarity.
-
Your child studies, but shows no clear interest in any subject.
-
They say “I don’t know” when asked about future plans.
-
They want to choose the same stream as friends.
-
Marks and actual ability seem mismatched.
-
Motivation keeps changing every few weeks.
-
Career discussions at home end in confusion or arguments.
If two or more feel familiar, start with the Career Direction Quiz
How we help your child choose the right direction
We don’t start with career suggestions. We start with understanding the student.
1
Understanding The Student
We first understand the student’s personality, learning style, interests and motivation. This helps us identify why confusion exists — not just what the child says they like.
Includes the Career Direction Quiz and parent discussion
2
Aptitude & Interest Analysis
We use structured psychometric assessments to measure aptitude, strengths and natural inclinations across multiple career areas which ensures our credibility during the guidance session.
Conducted when needed through our certified assessment partner, PinkNBlue Career Guidance
3
Guidance & Career Roadmap
Based on insights from the first two steps, we conduct a joint parent–student counselling session and create a clear next-step roadmap.
Focused on stream selection, subject choices and future direction
This process ensures career decisions are based on suitability — not guesswork or peer pressure.
Initial discovery session. Psychometric assessment (if required) is suggested after this step.
What to expect in the Initial Guidance Session
A calm discussion to understand the student — not a test and not a lecture
01
Parent & Student Conversation
We speak with both parent and student to understand concerns, expectations and confusion areas.
02
Student Interaction
We interact directly with the student to observe interests, communication style and comfort zones.
03
Clarity Feedback
We explain what we are noticing — whether the issue is interest, ability, motivation, or external pressure.
04
Next Step Recommendation
We suggest subject focus, habit improvement, or a detailed psychometric assessment if needed.
🛡
You are not committing to any further service by booking this session
The session is purely exploratory. We only recommend additional assessment or counselling if it genuinely helps the student
Duration: ~60 minutes | Parent participation recommended
Who benefits most from this guidance
Not every student needs counselling. But some students clearly need structured direction
This session is helpful if your child:
• Is confused between Science, Commerce or Humanities
• Keeps changing career ideas every few weeks
• Is capable but not motivated to study
• Studies a lot but results don’t match effort
• Is influenced heavily by friends / relatives / coaching pressure
• You and your child frequently argue about studies or future
• Your child is in college but unsure about continuing the current degree
This session may not be necessary if:
• The student already has a clear career plan and consistent effort
• Career path is already fixed due to a specific entrance exam track
• You only want a psychometric report without discussion
• You are only looking for tuition or subject coaching
• You expect instant career answers without student participation
When a Psychometric Career Assessment is Recommended
We do not begin with testing. Assessment is suggested only
if it helps clarify the student’s direction.
Scientific Career Assessment
After the Initial Guidance Session, we may recommend a scientific career assessment. This is helpful not only for school students choosing a stream, but also for college students who are unsure whether their current course fits their strengths.
This is not a career suggestion tool. It is a diagnostic tool that helps us understand how the student thinks, learns and responds to academic demands.
What the assessment helps identify:
• Aptitude strengths and weak zones
• Learning and thinking style
• Career clusters naturally suited to the student
• Whether the issue is interest, effort, or ability mismatch
The report is always explained to both parent and student during a counselling session — it is never sent as a standalone report.

You don’t need to decide a career today.
You only need clarity.
Parents usually come to us not because their child is weak —
but because they are unsure.
The Initial Guidance Session is a structured conversation to understand the student’s interests, behaviour, learning style and pressure factors before any career suggestion is made.
We do not recommend a career in the first 5 minutes.
We first understand the child.
What we follow:
• Parent and student both attend
• No testing in this session
• No career forcing
• Psychometric assessment only if required
